About

Holy Royal Christian Academy is the dream of Joana Opoku. She saw the children gathering to play in an empty lot and saw they did not have a school to attend. She purchased the land. She gathered the support of donors and constructed a school building. It was a long, hard journey but the school has now opened! We are looking for teachers. If you are a teacher, send your CV to Joana.

Mission

Our mission is to build a Christian school near Amasaman, outside of Accra. This school will educate the local boys and girls. The eventual goal is to educate all the way to the college level. The children of this area need a school to attend. These children are our future leaders and will need life skills to succeed. We want them to know the value of education and why it is so important for them to attend school rather than selling unprofitable goods or staying at home doing nothing productive.

We want them to know that this is a new era of civilization, whereby educating one woman you ultimately educate the whole village and educating one young man you ultimately train a leader. Every child needs to “taste and see” how good knowledge is, what a good feeling it is to communicate in English, French, and local languages. Our goal is to create environment conducive for learning and enjoyment.

Life skills and business skills are a life changer. Those skills unlock the ability to plan and make good decisions for the future. Those skills unlock leadership roles in the nation.

Our vision is to see the life of these children change and transformed to become lawyers, judges, doctors, ministers, pastors, ambassadors, designers, and entrepreneurs changing the course of our nation to become one of the greatest nations on earth. It is our goal to give them hope for the future and to be able to see beyond the hopeless. We will provide a place of fulfillment. We went to reach as many children as we can to help them get a better life. They will use the knowledge to help shape others.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
